Mating advantage for rare males in wild guppy populations

The research team including Kimberly A. Hughes of Florida State University, Anne E. Houde of Lake Forest College in Illinois, Helen Rodd and Anna C. Price from Ecology & Evolutionary Biology at the University of Toronto show female guppies preferentially mate with males of rare color patterns.
