Sophia Lavergne receives graduate student award of merit from the Senior Women Academic Administrators of Canada

Sophia Lavergne an EEB PhD graduate student (Boonstra lab) receives award of merit from the Senior Women Academic Administrators of Canada (SWAAC). Sophia studies snowshoe hares in the boreal forest at the Kluane Lake Research Station in the Yukon. The award recognizes Sophia’s leadership in promoting scientific outreach in this Yukon community while studying the role of stress on this important herbivore and prey species as part of her PhD research.
