As directed by the Joint Health & Safety Committee, ALL users of the autoclaves in Earth Sciences MUST be trained in their use by an authorized person.

Michael Arlt will be offering training this Friday, Jan. 31 at 10am in the autoclave room B120 -it will only take about 30 minutes. Anyone who intends to use the autoclaves and has not been previously trained should attend. A record of attendance is recorded for audit purposes.

Would all supervisors please inform new members in the lab of this training since they may not be on this ESC distribution list.
