Panel discussion with: Dr. Nick Mandrak and Dr. Brie Edwards

Dr. Nick Mandrak – Associate Professor in Biology at UTSC, formerly with Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO). He is Director of the Conservation and Biodiversity stream of the professional M.Env.Sci. program at UTSC. Nick is a Research Associate of the Royal Ontario Museum and South Africa Institute of Aquatic Biodiversity. He is the Co-Chair of the Freshwater Fishes Species Specialist Subcommittee of COSEWIC.

Dr. Brie Edwards – Research Scientist, Northern Lakes Monitoring at Ontario Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change, formerly Freshwater Research Associate and before that, Postdoc with Wildlife Conservation Society.
