About
This panel discussion will interest life sciences undergraduate students in all years, but especially those in their last and penultimate years. The panelists include graduate students in EEB who will provide advice and insights based on their experience applying for graduate school, as well as Professor Asher Cutter (EEB Associate Chair for Graduate Studies).
At this session, we will:
- Provide advice and guidance on applying for MSc or PhD programs, including how to find a good potential supervisor
- Go over what to expect about graduate school in general
- Go over how eligibility, marks, research experience, reference letters, etc. influence your chances of finding a graduate student position
- Chat with current EEB grad students
- Answer questions you may have
Note: If you are interested in hearing other EEB graduate student perspectives on any of these topics, then you are encouraged to ask your TAs in your EEB courses – they are EEB grad students!
We hope to see you at this meeting! If you have non-EEB friends who would like to come to the meeting, please bring them along!
