Research
I explore the incredible complexity of plant genomes at scale. Within the Genome Sequencing Center at the HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology, I focus on pan-genome analysis, de novo assembly, SNP discovery, metagenomics, and genetic marker development—especially in complex and polyploid species. My work helps drive applied research that fuels innovation in agriculture and biotechnology.
I’m also passionate about using machine learning to uncover patterns hidden in massive genomic datasets. By combining bioinformatics with data-driven modeling, I aim to reveal insights that guide better breeding decisions, enhance diagnostics, and accelerate trait discovery.
