We use a combination of field and lab-based experiments to study how environmental conditions affect insect evolutionary ecology.  Current and ongoing research in the lab includes (1) Ecological constraints on sexual selection; (2) Life history evolution in response to environmental change; (3) The effect of salinity pollution on freshwater populations and communities.
